Revolução passiva e crise de hegemonia no Brasil contemporâneo

Resumo: Este artigo busca refletir sobre o fenômeno do lulismo e sua crise a partir de certas categorias desenvolvidas por Antonio Gramsci nos Cadernos do Cárcere. Inicialmente, remete-se à noção de revolução passiva e ao debate aberto por Carlos Nelson Coutinho sobre a utilidade deste conceito para interpretar os primeiros governos de Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Em seguida, busca-se especificar qual o tipo de revolução passiva convém destacar para compreender o lulismo, em especial o que permite entendê-lo como uma forma de atualização do capitalismo no Brasil. Em seguida, passa-se à noção de crise de hegemonia e crise orgânica, argumentando serem mais úteis para pensar ao momento político atual, caracterizado pela combinação da crise em sua forma política e econômica.

Passive revolution and crisis of hegemony in contemporary Brazil

Abstract: This article aims to reflect about the phenomenom of lulism and its crisis, based on certain categories developed by Antonio Gramsci in his Quaderni del Carcere. At first, we refered to the notion of passive revolution and to the debate opened by Carlos Nelson Coutinho about the usefulness of this concept to interpret the first governments of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Next, we aimed to specify which type of passive Revolution we should highlight in order to understand lulism, especially the one that allows understanding it as a way of updating capitalism in Brasil. Lastly, we got into the notion of crisis of hegemony and organic crisis, by arguing they are more useful to think about the current political moment, which is characterized by the combination of a crisis in its political and economic forms.
