As visões de Simone Machard: Brecht e o realismo da resistência ao fascismo
Resumo: Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma leitura do texto da peça As visões de Simone Machard (1941-1943, 1957) do dramaturgo alemão Bertolt Brecht. Trata-se de uma análise textual materialista – isto é, um procedimento crítico que busca determinar as relações entre forma literária e processo social – cujo intuito é descobrir de quais maneiras acontece a seleção e a organização de elementos estéticos para representar os meandros subterrâneos de um momento decisivo da história europeia no século XX e que não raramente foi falsificado pela historiografia oficial: a invasão alemã do território francês e a subsequente implementação de um governo colaboracionista com os nazistas.

The visions of Simone Machard: Brecht and the realism of the resistance against fascism
Abstract: This article aims to present a reading of the German playwright Bertolt Brecht’s text The visions of Simone Machard (1941-1943, 1957). This is a materialist textual analysis – that is, a critical procedure that seeks to determine the relations between literary form and social process – whose objective is the revelation of which ways the aesthetic elements are selected and organized in order to represent the subterranean meanderings of a decisive moment of European History in the twentieth century and that not rarely was falsified by official historiography: the German invasion of the French territory and the subsequent implementation of a govern of cooperation with the Nazi.
