A relação centro-periferia e os estudos gramscianos

Resumo: O objetivo deste texto é discutir os limites da noção/metáfora centro-periferia como cânone de interpretação nos estudos gramscianos, tomando ponto de partida a pesquisa monográfica da trajetória da relação entre Antonio Gramsci e Piero Gobetti e das interpretações a seu respeito no pós-1945. Depois de refletir sobre os usos possíveis dessa metáfora em um diálogo proposto entre as ideias de Gramsci e de alguns intelectuais brasileiros, discute seus limites na artificiosa construção político-cultural e historiográfica promovida pelo PCI na segunda metade do século XX.

The center-periphery relationship and the Gramscian studies

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to discuss the limits of the notion / center-periphery metaphor as a canon of interpretation in the Gramscian studies, starting from the monographic research about the trajectory of the relation between Antonio Gramsci and Piero Gobetti and the interpretations about him in post-1945 . After reflecting on the possible uses of this metaphor in a proposed dialogue between the ideas of Gramsci and some Brazilian intellectuals, this paper discusses its limits in the artificially politico-cultural and historiographic construction promoted by the PCI in the second half of the twentieth century.
