Revoluções passivas na América Latina

Resumo: O artigo investiga os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre os usos do conceito gramsciana de revolução passiva pelos gramscianos latino-americano nos anos 1970-1980, período da difusão do pensamento de Gramsci, pouco conhecido até então no continente. Em seguida, apresenta considerações sobre o conceito em Gramsci, mas também além deste autor, colocando ênfase na relação entre passividade e subalternidade, e nas noções de progressividade e hegemonia.

Passive revolutions in Latin America

Abstract:The article investigates the results of a research on the uses of Gramsci’s concept of passive revolution by the latin american gramscians in the years 1970-1980, period of the diffusion of the Gramsci thought, little known then in the continent. And then presents considerations about the concept in Gramsci, but also beyond this author placing emphasis on the relationship between passivity and subalternity, and on the notions of progressivity and hegemony.

Resumo: Este artigo está composto por quatro partes. Na primeira são reconstruídas e analisadas as raízes e passagens históricos da crise na esquerda no México. Posteriormente se destacam os principais traços da específica crise do Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD). Na terceira parte, avalia o impacto do movimento de protesto contra o desaparecimento forçoso dos 43 estudantes de Ayotzinapa para concluir com algumas reflexões sobre seus limites e as inércias conservadoras no contexto das recentes eleições legislativas.

After Ayotzinapa: the Mexican left between subalternity and antagonism

Abstract: This article consists of four parts. The first part analyses and reconstructs the roots and historical passages of the crisis of the Mexican left followed by the second part highlighting the key features of the crisis of the institutional Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). The third part evaluates the impact of the nationwide social movement that protested against the kidnapping and murder of 43 students from Ayotzinapa Teachers College in 2014 and discussing some final considerations over its limits and the conservative inertia in the context of the recent legislative elections.
